THE AUTHOR

Jean-Charles Mbotti Malolo grew up in the 90s in the Lyon region.
His graduation film, "The Heart is a Metronome", received the "Prize for Best First Film" at the Hiroshima Festival in 2008.
Drawing is her first passion, but dancing has always been part of her mode of expression.
In this line, Jean-Charles wrote and directed "Le Sens du Toucher" in 2014, a film that combines the aesthetics of dance and sign language. He received a warm welcome by participating in more than 60 festivals, and distinguished himself with 22 international prizes.
In 2018, he revived James Brown and Solomon Burke in a short film entitled "Make it Soul".
