"Play is a voluntary activity performed within certain fixed limits of time and place, following a freely agreed upon but completely compelling rule, endowed with an end in itself, accompanied by a feeling of tension or joy and an awareness to be other than in everyday life. »

JULIEN DECAUX / CONNECTED MUSIC & DOUBLE BASS
Eclectic and multi-instrumentalist, two words that sum up Julien Decaux's profile well.
Always on the edge, he loves improvisation and jazz in all its forms.
We also find him in film music where his talents as an instrumentalist and arranger serve the images with finesse. During his university studies, he was also passionate about contemporary music and in particular computer-assisted music. He creates pieces for electronics and instruments, and interactive sound installations.
