THE AUTHOR

Boris Seewald is a Berlin-based art director and editor with a passion for music and dance films.
With a musical background and an innate ability to coordinate image and sound, B. Seewald finds her form of expression in the rhythmic illustration of music.
His short film “Momentum” and his music video “The Feast” and “Spark” by Ralf Hildenbeutel have received more than twenty awards - including the Cinedans Dioraphte Jury Prize - and have been screened in over a hundred festivals around the world.

 

With the firm intention of continuing his film career, he worked on his own projects and built his work experiences in this field.

Although B. Seewald is primarily self-taught, he studied film direction at Filmarche and film studies at the University of Berlin.
Since the creation of his own structure, Seewald & Hanna, he has produced music videos for labels such as Deutsche Grammophon, worked in the post-production department for short and feature films, and edited numerous commercials (eg the Berliner Philharmoniker) or television series.
